They are in Word 2000 format, but 97 should open them up fine. If someone
doesn't have word, or would like them plain text, let me know. Any

Getting Help - Contact
information
The proper way to get help with problems is to go through
the
problem database at http://problem.rice.edu. Any
problems
you log via either email (problem@rice.edu) or the web
page will
automatically be routed to one of us. Also, for phone support at
any
time, call the Consulting Center at 527-4983. If you need a room
visit
they'll log a problem for you and we'll give you call to set up
a good time.
In extreme emergencies, and if the Consulting Center is
unable to
provide help, you can contact Erik (welsh@rice.edu, 348-1349) or Jacob
(monky@rice.edu, 348-1342).
Training
We're multitalented, and will be giving periodic short how-to
training
sessions. These won't last longer than about half an hour, and will
cover topics such as setting up and reading email, printing,
creating
a web home page, and Owlnet account essentials. Check the schedule to see what's coming up, or
contact
us via problem if you'd like to see us offer something else.
In addition, Information Systems broadcasts helpful videos on the
Rice cable network. These videos cover such topics as unix, pine,
MS Word, MS Excel, and Windows 95. Click
here for a complete schedule of the broadcasts.
