My astrometric configuration is a Celestron C-8 and a Van Slyke Digital Bifilar Micrometer. The reticle lines are 10 microns, the digital readout has a resolution of 0.0005", and the 4" diameter position angle indicator has a 0.1 degree vernier scale. I machined a sleeve for the eyepiece so that I can mount a video camera. I view the image on a small monitor, which permits comfortable viewing no matter where the eyepiece is, and also eliminates possible parallax problems caused by eye placement at the eyepiece.

My Brandon 94, with an Astro Physics focuser, is mounted on a Celestron G-9 equipped with the Losmandy digital setting circles. Readout is via a Sky Commander XP4 to TheSky6 on my laptop.
